Anu

Anu is a multifaceted name brimming with a plethora of meanings and origins. In Finnish and Estonian cultures, Anu is used as a variant of the Latin Anna, which has Greek and Hebrew roots. Meaning "graciousness," "he was gracious," and "he has shown favor," Anu speaks of the praise that baby may have for their faith and inner beliefs. This connection to religious guidance is also found in the African Anuoluwapo, signifying "God's mercy is plenty" in Yoruba.
