Annis

Annis is a girl’s name of Greek origin. Possibly one of the earlier forms of Agnes, it goes on to mean “pure” and “virginal.” By virtue of this, it’s a name favored by the likes of saints. A lake in Nova Scotia is also known by Annis and the same can be said for an asteroid in outer space. So whether or not, a divine calling is in baby’s cards, this moniker can surely see them shine on earth and everywhere else.
