Shannon Simcox is a writer, editor and fact-checker. She is passionate about access to health care, donating her time to the Walk to End Alzheimer's and advocating at the state and federal level for those living with dementia. A 2011 graduate of Penn State University with Bachelor's degrees in journalism and political science, Simcox has spent her career working in daily newspapers, community magazines, trade publications and medical communications. When not writing, she loves spending her free time with her growing family of nieces and nephews.
