Geranium is a feminine, floral name, perfect for encouraging baby to bloom into their vibrant self. The title originates from the Greek word géranos, which means “crane” and is given to a genus of plants whose flowers bear a slight resemblance to the bird. These flowers are well-known and grow in a range of beautiful colors and shapes. Their delicate scent can be found in opulent perfumes. Geranium is also used to describe a rich shade of red. Rooted in colorful nature, baby Geranium may develop a love for plants and the confidence to stand out.
At The Bump, Beau researches and writes baby names to help parents choose the perfect title for their little ones. She especially enjoys names with mythical and historical origins.
