How Does the Doctor Estimate Baby’s Weight?

Will the doctor estimate my baby's weight before the birth? How?

Your OB may or may not venture a ballpark guess of baby’s size. If she does throw out a number, don’t expect it to be spot on. It’s just a guesstimate, based on how big your uterus feels, how you’re measuring, and your own stature. That said, many moms report being surprised by their doc’s accurate guess!
